MASHUJAA FESTIVAL - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Kenya Community Victoria (KCV) invites food vendors to express their interest in providing food and beverage services for the 2nd annual Mashujaa Festival, a dynamic event that celebrates sports and physical activities, bringing together the Kenyan diaspora across Victoria.

We are seeking food vendors who meet the following criteria:

1. Professional food vendors or catering businesses with a team lead.

2. Food Handling Supervisor Certificate for the team lead.

3. Food Handling Certificates for all team staff.

4. Proven experience in delivering high-quality food services for large-scale events.

Scope of Service:

Selected food vendors will provide a variety of food and beverage options at the Mashujaa Festival, including snacks, hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages, and full meals. Vendors must be self-sufficient in their setup, as only limited access to kitchen facilities will be available.

Expected Number of Attendees:

Approximately 300 participants, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Application Requirements:

Interested food vendors should submit the following to admin@kcv.org.au:

• A proposed menu with indicative pricing.

• ABN or food business registration number.

• Valid Food Handling Certificate.

• Valid Public Liability Insurance Certificate.

Partnership Conditions:

Collaborations between vendors are welcome, but only one party should submit the Expression of Interest. Vendors should also demonstrate a commitment to community development and are encouraged to become corporate members of KCV before the event.
