Tamaduni Festival is a cultural celebration of color, heritage, and community. We invite creative decorators with a strong design sensibility and logistical experience to bring the venue to life with immersive, culturally inspired décor.

2. Décor Services
We are seeking a professional and creative décor team to bring the Tamaduni Festival’s theme to life through vibrant, culturally inspired visual setups. The décor provider will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall atmosphere, ensuring every guest feels immersed in a celebration of Kenyan culture.
Scope of Work:
Thematic Concept Development
Collaborate with the KCV team to develop a cohesive décor theme aligned with the festival’s cultural focus and branding.
Incorporate elements representing Kenya’s ethnic diversity and heritage.Venue Aesthetics & Atmosphere
Design and set up entrance décor, including branded carpet runner, backdrop banner, and photo opportunity zones for attendees.
Set up directional and branding signage (e.g., food court, kids’ zone, stage, and VIP areas).
Decorate the perimeter and high-traffic areas with culturally inspired artifacts, fabrics, flags, and florals where appropriate.Seating & Tablescape Setup
Design and decorate seating areas, including tables, chairs, centerpieces, and table numbers for both general and VIP sections.
Ensure colors and materials used are consistent with the festival theme.Stage and Performance Area Setup
Design a dynamic stage backdrop that reflects Kenyan traditions and provides a photogenic focal point for performances.
Provide props or visual enhancements to complement scheduled acts (dancers, fashion shows, etc.).Kids’ Corner & Cultural Booths
Provide creative and culturally relevant décor for the kids’ zone.
Support ethnic communities in decorating their booth areas to align with the overall theme while retaining individual identity.Lighting Integration
Work with the AV team to incorporate ambient lighting for evening transitions and enhance décor visibility.
Add decorative lighting elements where appropriate (e.g., fairy lights, lanterns).Setup & Takedown Management
Supervise full setup of all décor elements before the event begins.
Coordinate with the event management team to ensure timely takedown and clean-up post-event.
Additional Expectations:
Provide your own team and necessary materials/tools for setup and removal.
Be present for a venue site visit and pre-event briefing with KCV Events Team.
Submit a proposed décor concept/mood board as part of your EOI, including estimated timelines for setup and pack-down.
All electrical items must be tagged and tested before use.
