The success of Tamaduni Festival begins long before event day. We are seeking a creative partner to develop captivating visuals and promotional content that build excitement, boost visibility, and represent the essence of our cultural celebration.

9. Marketing & Promotions

Kenya Community Victoria (KCV) is inviting proposals from creative agencies or freelance designers/content creators with a deep understanding of branding, cultural storytelling, and event marketing. The selected provider will be responsible for developing visual and promotional materials before, during, and after the festival to enhance engagement, brand consistency, and community pride.


Scope of Work:

A. Pre-Event Creative Design

  • Event Branding Assets
    Develop the official Tamaduni Festival 2025 visual identity (or adapt the existing one), including fonts, color palette, layout style, and iconography.
    Ensure the brand reflects Kenyan culture, vibrancy, and inclusivity.

  • Graphic Design & Collateral
    Design high-quality digital and print assets, including:
    Event posters (A3, A4, and social media formats)
    Flyers, tickets, wristbands, and event passes
    Digital countdown banners, teaser images, and quote cards
    Branded templates for social media use by KCV team and partners

  • Sponsorship Assets
    Create sponsor recognition materials:
    Sponsor highlight banners and slide templates
    Logos incorporated into key visual materials
    Thank-you graphics for social media and website use

B. Social Media & Promotions

  • Campaign Rollout Strategy
    Propose a rollout schedule for event promotions across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    Suggest hashtag strategy, audience engagement posts, polls, and countdowns.

  • Video Snippets & Reels
    Design short (15–60 second) motion graphics or teaser videos using event branding.
    Collaborate with the media team to integrate performance previews, behind-the-scenes content, and historical festival footage.

  • Ad Assets
    Prepare high-resolution designs ready for print and digital ads (sponsored social media posts, partner websites, etc.).

C. Event Day Visuals & Support

  • Run-of-Show Visuals
    Design PowerPoint or multimedia slides to accompany stage performances and announcements:
    Branded holding slides
    Transition visuals for each segment
    Sponsor mentions and performer names
    Support the IT/AV team with correctly sized and formatted files for on-screen display.

  • On-Site Signage & Wayfinding
    Design print-ready files for:
    Entry banners and welcome signs
    Directional signage (toilets, vendors, kids' area, VIP, first aid, etc.)
    Booth signage and performance lineups
    Stage backdrops or branded media wall

D. Post-Event Content

  • Highlights Collateral
    Design “Thank You” graphics featuring photo highlights for use on social platforms and the KCV website.
    Create a social media wrap-up series (e.g., carousel posts or quote cards from attendees).
    Format select photos or videos for potential use in future sponsorship decks or community reports.

Additional Expectations

  • Must submit a portfolio or samples of previous event branding or social media campaigns.

  • Be available for weekly check-ins during the campaign period.

  • Coordinate with the KCV Media & Events Team to maintain visual consistency across all platforms.

  • All files must be delivered in editable formats (Adobe Suite or Canva) and include final export-ready versions (JPEG, PNG, MP4, PDF).

  • Provide ownership release or license for all created materials, allowing KCV to reuse for future events.
